Nyagwethe secondary School is one of the newly established secondary schools in Kenya. It was established in 2005 by the Community with a total enrolment of 29 students comprising 23 boys 6 girls.
Over the years the school has evolved thus the School enrollement in 2011 is as follows:
The school has a modern administration block which has the Pricipal, Deputy Principal and Accounts offices. Also in the building are 3 class rooms, a staff room, a computer laboratory and a library.
The school has 8 classrooms, 1 laboratory, 3 staff houses and currently a dormitory under construction.
